The Lancaster Tennis & Yacht Club is a multifaceted sports and social club with a rich history. We have a dining room and bar that serves the membership and a ballroom for social events. We also rent our ballroom to outside groups for meetings and provide full food and drink catering services for banquets, weddings, reunions and other parties for outside groups. Out six har-tru tennis courts

(2 with lights), platform tennis court, game room, and newly installed pickle ball court provide year round sports activities for our members.

We have a wealth of tennis programs including professional instruction, an onsite pro shop. USTA league team tennis, singles and doubles play, a club tennis ladder, and many social tennis events. Some of the best players in the county are members yet most of our tennis members are typical club players with various skill levels.

We have one of the few platform tennis courts in the county. This game is played in the late fall through early spring when the weather is cold and is a wonderful supplement to the tennis facilities.

Pickle ball is a tennis type game played on a concrete court during the warm weather.

Our game room in the basement houses a local dart league, pool table, ping pong table and various game machines.

Even though our name indicates that we are a tennis club, about half of our members are simply social members. All members enjoy our wonderful dining room and bar, and many social/entertainment events.

Good food has always been a hallmark of this club and talented chefs have always been our greatest asset.  In addition to providing excellent food and drink for the members six evenings a week, The chef and his staff lend their talents for custom designed banquets, wedding receptions, anniversaries, and other special events.

It is no wonder that when members are deciding which new restaurant they would like to try, they often decide to simply enjoy the rich camaraderie and splendid food of their own club.
