Is it spring yet?

As I write this tennis column…I am reminded that it is NOT spring yet. Another winter storm is being forecasted for tomorrow adding more snow to our Har Tru courts. Oh well, as we know, spring usually does eventually arrive. It just may be in June!

Regardless…I’m back (Lil Jeff) to help prepare your tennis games for a fun 2010 tennis season as well as in-form you of great deals coming out of your Pro Shop!

Tennis Instruction Special!

I’m still optimistic that we will get our courts “open” by mid April, so as I start into my 8th season as Head Pro at the LT&Y Club, I would like to offer the following private lesson package “special.”

Anyone purchasing a 5, 10, 15, or 20 hour private lesson package the month of March will receive a FREE 1 hour lesson for every 5 hour lesson increment, meaning the following:

For a 5 hour/$310 package get 1 free! 6 for $310

For a 10 hour/$600 package get 2 free! 12 for $600

For a 15 hour/$870 package get 3 free! 18 for $870

For a 20 hour/$1120 package get 4 free! 24 for $1120

USTA Team Practices Available

I’ve lowered my “regular” group instructional rates…to better make affordable instruction for your teams, so you all can have success in 2010! We have a record breaking number of USTA teams playing out of LT&Y Club this year…and I hope to be a part of your teams success!

We had two teams travel to Princeton this past year (Men’s 4.5 Team and Ladies 3.0 Senior Team) with the ladies of course, traveling to Tuscan, AZ for Nationals! Let’s keep the tradition going!

1 hour practice: $15 per player for a 6 session package for $90

$20 per player if paying per session

1 ½ hour practice: $20 per player for a 6 session package for $120

$25 per player if paying per session

The day of reckoning is here! Where you all can purchase an entire tennis wardrobe for under $50! That’s correct! Shirts/Tops $10, Skirts/Shorts $10, Shoes $25. This one day clearance sale will happen on Satur-day 3/13/10 from 2-4PM at the LT&Y Club Pro Shop. Come out and see if we have your shoe size! Plus…try on some of last season’s Adidas clothes. It all must go to make room for 2010 inventory! Bring your tired tennis racquets with you to get restrung right on the spot while you take advantage of these blow out prices! Tennis Racquet “Refurbishing” Special

Your favorite “shop” special is back! Its just in time to prepare your racquet for a busy tennis season. Get your racquets restrung with Head Master string and re-gripped for only $30! Spring Fashion Show/Luncheon date set!

Mark your daily planners with another important date! I know its 2 months away, but you wont want to miss our 1st annual Spring Pro Shop Luncheon/Fashion Show! That’s right! Come out and see some of your peers fashioning some of the Pro Shop’s “special” clothing, shoe, and racquet’s lines outside on the deck with a wonderful luncheon as well.
